OK - I'm early this week. It's Friday afternoon and I have time to post something so I'm gonna!
This coming week we'll be looking at Pangaea again then dive into Earthquakes and Volcanoes!!! Soooooo interesting!
What type of plate boundary do live very close to??
Why is it important to know this valuable piece of information??
What is your families plan when there is a BIG earthquake? where will get power, food, water, shelter? How will you find each other if your parents are at work and you are at school?

The plate we live on is the Pacific Plate. It's important to know that we live right on the boundaries, that's where more earthquakes happen.

I have bad news - no one has given me the actual TYPE of boundary we live near. We live ON the edge of the Pacific Plate but that's not the type of boundary. Think of the "hand motions" we've been doing. Are we sliding, crashing into, or moving apart from another plate?
